FAQ
Questions we hear before fieldwork
Straight answers about who we serve, what access we need, and how engagements run.
-
Who are settlement process audits for?
Payment companies — PSPs, acquirers, and similar institutions — that need independent review of how funds clear, reconcile, and pay out to merchants. We work from Tsim Sha Tsui with teams across Hong Kong and regional corridors.
-
Do you process payments on this site?
No. Pricing on this site is informational only. Engagements are scoped and invoiced offline after we agree on evidence access and timeline.
-
What access do you need?
Typically read access to settlement and clearing samples, fee schedules, payout calendars, and exception queues for two full cycles. We agree a data room list before fieldwork starts.
-
How long does a primary settlement audit take?
Most settlement process audits run two to four weeks depending on corridor count and file complexity. Focused clearing or payout reviews can finish in one to two weeks.
-
Can you support sponsor diligence?
Yes. After an audit — or using evidence you already hold — we can prepare a sponsor assurance brief with redacted references and Q&A prep for diligence calls.
-
What if we need to reschedule fieldwork?
Rescheduling before fieldwork starts is usually straightforward. Once sampling has begun, fees for work already performed apply as described in our refund policy.
